Job placement · For candidates

Your application reaches a person, not a queue

Applied cold, your resume is read by software and joins a queue. We put you in front of a hiring manager and prepare you for that panel.

For candidates

Two things go wrong before anyone reads you

The first is mechanical. Applicant tracking systems parse your resume into fields, and a two-column layout, a skills graphic or a header in a text box comes out as noise. A recruiter then searches for "Kubernetes" and never sees the person who has run it for two years. Nothing about your experience failed — the extraction did.

The second is worse, because you cannot see it: a good share of public postings are stale. The req is filled internally, frozen on a hiring pause, or open only to collect a pipeline. From outside there is no way to tell those apart from a live role, so a hundred careful applications can land almost entirely on dead ones.

Employers pay on a hire. This one never changes.

What's included

Everything below is part of the placement engagement. There is no tier, and there is nothing a candidate pays for.

Resume rebuild

Single column, real text for every skill, dates and titles where a parser expects them, and rewritten against the requisition you are targeting rather than in general.

Targeted submission

Your recruiter submits you to matched openings and tells you where you went. No spray, and nothing sent without you knowing which company it was.

Loop-specific interview prep

We have sent candidates through most of these panels before. Prep covers the rounds that employer actually runs — the take-home, the system design, the behavioural framing they favour.

Band and offer guidance

What the role pays in that market, what is negotiable beyond base, and what a counter costs you in goodwill. You go into the conversation knowing the range.

First-90-days check-ins

Two conversations after you start — one at week two, one at week eight — because the placements that fail usually fail early and quietly.

How a placement runs

Five stages. The timeline below is typical; a narrow target moves faster than a broad one.

130 min
Intake call

Your background, the roles you actually want, locations you can take, and your work authorisation — enough to know which employers can move on you.

23–5 days
Profile work

Resume rebuilt and returned for your approval, LinkedIn tightened to match. Nothing goes out until you have signed off on how you are represented.

3Week 1
First submissions

Between four and eight targeted submissions, each with the company named to you. We chase for a read rather than waiting on the portal.

4Weeks 2–5
Interview loops

Scheduling handled, prep before each round, and a debrief after. We pass the panel feedback back to you honestly, including when it is unflattering.

5Offer
Offer and start

Band check, negotiation support, paperwork chased, start date agreed. Then the two check-ins once you are in the seat.

What we will not do

The staffing industry has a reputation problem, and most of it comes from four behaviours. These are the ones we refuse.

Charge you a fee

Our fee is paid by the employer on a successful hire. Any agency asking a candidate for placement, resume or "processing" fees is not doing legitimate staffing, whatever the invoice says.

Submit you without telling you

You will always know which company received your resume, before it goes. Blind submission is how candidates end up double-submitted and quietly disqualified.

Sell you a role that does not exist

We do not advertise composite roles to collect resumes. If a req goes stale after you have been submitted, we tell you it went stale.

Push a contract when you want permanent

Contract-to-hire is sometimes the faster way in, and we will say so. It is your call, and it is not the answer we default to because it closes quicker.

Frequently asked questions

Questions we get about job placement. Anything else, just ask.

Do I have to give up applying on my own?

No, and you should not. Keep your own search running. Just tell us where you have already applied so we do not double-submit you — a duplicate submission from two sources is one of the few things that can get an otherwise strong candidate screened out on process grounds.

How many roles will I be submitted to?

Fewer than you would apply to alone, and that is the point. Four to eight in the first week, each matched and each chased. Volume is what you do when you have no way in; it is not a strategy when you do.

What if my resume is already good?

Then the rebuild is quick. We still run it through a parser and show you the extracted output, because "reads well to a person" and "parses correctly" are different properties and plenty of well-written resumes fail the second one.

Will you represent me if I need visa sponsorship?

We place candidates with a range of work authorisations, and part of intake is establishing which employers on our client list can genuinely sponsor. Being straight about that early saves you from interviewing somewhere that was never going to be able to hire you.

What happens if I turn down an offer?

Nothing changes. You stay in active search with us. A candidate who takes a role they did not want is a placement that fails in month four, which serves nobody.

Do you place outside tech?

Yes. Engineering and data are the largest desks, but we also place business and product analysis, finance, supply chain, and IT support — mostly into banking, insurance, healthcare technology, retail and logistics.

Send us the resume you are currently using

We will tell you what a parser makes of it, and which of your target roles are live right now.
